General Membership Meeting Update & CUPE Airline Division Survey
Yesterday we held our very first General Membership Meeting. The entire executive of CUPE 4070 was in attendance, along with members from committees to present their budget proposals. There were proposed Bylaw Amendments and a Budget Proposal, however, quorum was not met, therefore a vote could not be held.
Quorum for a General Membership Meeting is 150 members, plus 2 members of the board. The GMM was announced on April 12, with the opportunity to attend via conference call. There were up to 107 members in attendance in person and by telephone.
The link to listen to the General Membership Meeting recording will be made available so stay tuned for an update!
The CUPE Airline Division is giving us an opportunity to speak with one voice, along with all other Cabin Crew Members, about the issues and concerns that affect us all. Please participate in this survey for us all to be heard.
